The resolution is as follows : RESOLUTION NO. A resolution providing for a special bond election to be held on November 25, 1980 for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of Midvale City, Salt Lake County, Utah, the question of the issuance of $1,000,000 General Obligation Municipal Purpose Utility Bonds. WHEREAS, the Municipality of Midvale City desires to defray all or a portion of the costs of paying its proportionate share of the South Valley Water Reclamation Facility, constructing water and sewer improvements, hooking into the South Valley Water Reclamation Facility System, and otherwise upgrading the existing water and sewer systems of the Municipality; and WHEREAS, said Municipality does not have on hand money to pay for such construction and improvements and the City Council has determined to defray the cost thereof through the issuance of up to $1,000,000 General Obligation Municipal Purpose Utility Bonds; and WHEREAS, it is desired to submit a proposition concerning the issuance of such bonds to the vote of the qualified electors of the Municipality pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Municipal Bond Act : NOW, THEREFORE, It Is Hereby Resolved by the City Council of Midvale, Salt Lake County, Utah, as B SCHOOL Bid forms may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Department, Jordan School District, 9361 South 400 East, Sandy, Utah 84070. On the 25th day of November, 1980, there shall be held in the Municipality of Midvale City a special bond election between the hours of 7:tiD a.m. and 8:00 p.m., at which there shall be submitted to the qualified electors of said Municipality the I proposition appearing in the form of ballot set out in Section 5 hereof. Section 2. The voting places for said election, the election judges and alternate election Judge to serve at said voting places, each of whom is a qualified elector of the Municipality, shall be those specified in the form of Notice of Election set out in Section 4 hereof. Section 3. Such special bond election shall be conducted and the registration therefor shall be governed in conformity with the laws of the State of Utah, including particularly the Utah Municipal Bond Act, to 27 ( 1953), as Utah Code Annotated, Sections amended, and the officials of said Municipality shall and are hereby authorized and dire; ted to perform and do all things necessary to the proper calling and conduct of such election and the canvass of the results thereof.
