Only class and optional competition will be conducted at state. As could be expected, a look at the top six finishers in Region Five competition would reveal that each list is dominated with the names of Jordan and Judge competitors. For Jordan in class two, Karen Homer was first at 9.35, Leslie Scott fourth, and Patrice Elg fifth in the bars; in class two floor, Becky Pangos was ments, there didn't appear to be much suspense associated with either of the big meets, but in Region Two last Friday and Saturday at Alta High a real developed over second place and two points decided the runner-u- p position. . Orem was fourth and Hillcrest fifth at 288.75. In the class three ranks Brighton won 172.44 to Alta's 166.20, Bingham was fourth at 162.90, and following Orem, Hillcrest was sixth at 156.34. In Region Five last Wednesday in its home gym, Jordan picked up its sixth championship nod in seven years by eclipsing second place JCPenney second, Wendee Ritzman fourth, and Rainette Ostler fifth.
