The springtime theme was enhanced by the reading of pioneer poetry by Zelma Thompson, "lesson leader. Lois Bell gave atoief history on her mother and read a poem written by her father, James Paxton, a noted pioneer writer. Camp officers were installed by Far South East County representative, Merela Smith. Lila Greenwood, county president, was a special guest. Hostesses were Geneva Hill, Evelyn Wallace, Evelyn Bolliger, Faustine Ballamis, Doratha Cook, and Fleda Larson.
