Show II of U med school . . . 31C carpet man aria Oneida sees wish come true Maria Oneida has always wanted to go into medicine. When she was in the third grade, she used to draw pictures of doctors. When she was in high school, she did volunteer work at a local hospital. Now Maria's in medical school on her way to doing something that she says is "different for a girl to do." Maria, medical a freshman 22, is student at the University of Utah and the daughter of Mr and Mrs Tony Oneida, Midvale. She attended Hillcrest High School and then received an un in degree dergraduate biology from the U. "Medical school is a lot of work, but I love it," Maria "I chose medicine said. becaue I like to work with people. I think I would like to specialize in family practice because it will enable me to work with the whole family." Also attending medical school from Midvale is Michael Nielsen who will graduate this year.
