NEW SCHEDULE Next year Midvale Jr. High School will be having a new kind of school day. The regular school day will be six periods starting at 8 a.m. and finishing at 2 p.m. The period of time from 2 to 3:30 p.m. will be referred to as an enrichment period. During this time students may work with teachers where they feel they need extra help. Moss, chairman of the Senate Aeronautical lt competition will include launching rockets to a altitude, predetermined tests of parachute duration, and an egg launch where the rocket must land softly in a circle. Competition has been keen in the past, and it is expected that the home-buil- t rockets will show even greater expertise and exactness in handling this year. Students of all ages may compete. FASHION SHOW Midvale Stake Relief Society Bicentennial fashion show and quilt display was held following a stake leadership meeting. Nine wards participated, with 125 quilts being displayed. Some were old, some new, of varied designs and patterns. Modeling clothing in the fashion show entitled, "Heritage of Fashion," were 50 ladies from the various wards participating in the show.
