It is now being adopted in many junior high schools throughout the United States untrradintr and modernizine junior high school science education. The program is the result of more than ten years of work by a total of more than 300 experts from all over the nation possibly the most distinguished team of scientists, and classroom teachers ever assembled. Teachers involved in the Murray workshop study classroom management, student roles, rationale for individualization, evaluating and reporting progress, and questioning. A typical day at this workshop includes six hours of study, experimenting, planning, investigating, and sometimes literally building the items needed for their classrooms. Their students will benefit this fall by receiving a reasonable, yet stimulating, intellectual encounter with challenging problems through fun and exciting experiments in ISCS. They will struggle with mother nature, experiencing many of the same joys and frustrations of scientists, and gain a knowledge of the general principles and con cepts of science. during August On display through August the Tyler Branch Library re Utah fning tfirds in 'ramie bv Lenora and Robert ink.
