He will be home for 18 days. On Christmas Day Mr& Mrs Miner entertained at dinner. Lance Turner, Ely, Nev., formerly of Midvale, who is here for the holidays, returned from a trip with 30-d- ay his granddaughter, Mr & Mrs Lyle Cayman, San Francisco. They spent 23 days in Africa, returning via New York. On Christmas Eve Mr & Mrs Ronald Talbot and son, Ronald Jr., were dinner guests at the home of their daughter, Mr & Mrs Paul Anderson, Draper. Lt. & Mrs Ford L. Stevenson and two sons arrived Dec. 16 from Rheindahlen, Germany, to spend the holidays with Mr Stevenson's mother, Mrs Margaret L. Stevenson. A family on Christmas Day was held at the home of Mrs Stevenson. Other guests were Mrs Stevenson's parents, Mr & Mrs Hans L. Lund, Salt Lake. The Ford L. Stevensons plan to be here until Jan. 5. The Midvale Second LDS Ward elders quorum Christmas party was held last week. A dinner was enjoyed by the group after which Christmas carols were sung and gifts were exchanged.
