Thomson Former educator in Jordan School District, Niels Kimball Thomson, 75, 9549 S. State, Sandy, died Friday in a Murray Hospital of natural causes. Mr Thomson was a former bishop of Riverton First Ward and was principal for 24 years at Riverton school, which at that time included school the junior high grades. He graduated from BYU in 1916, and was atfor tendance coordinator Jordan district until retirement. In civic affairs Mr Thomson was a member of the Riverton Town Board and a charter member and past president of the Riverton Lions Club. He was secretary of the Sandy Canal Irrigation Company. He was born July 15, 1892 in Ephraim, a son of Thomas Peter and Hannah Christiansen Thomson. He married Dorcas Beata Olsen on Sept. 20, 1916 in the Manti Temple. She died June 23, 1957. He married Emma Marie Vincent Dec. 15, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Survivors include his widow; six sons and daughters, Gordon L., Thomas G., both Keith K., of California; Boyd, both of Bountiful; Lowell D., Orem; J. Paul, Midvale; Mrs Bert T. (Miri-lyn- ) Johnson, Sandy; stepdaughter, Mrs Odell (Harriet) Carver, Ida.; 31 grandchildren, two brother, sisters, Grant, Mrs Delphia Jorgen-sen- , both of Bountiful; Mrs F. A.
