Karen Walton, 8500 East, Sandy, is in fair condition at Cottonwood Hospital following a one-ca- r accident at 25th South and Second West Streets. She suffered facial injuries when her 1962 sedan collided with a pole, continuing down the roadway and hit another pole, officers reported. The car was a total loss. The power pole, which was left four feet inside the roadway after Second West was recently widened, broke off at impact and fell on top of Mrs Walton's car, breaking the rear window. Mrs S.
