Mrs is the former Linda Long, daughter of Mr & Mrs Stanley Long. Mr & Mrs Ray Taylor left recently for a week's vacation in Texas to visit family and relatives. Miss Suz Anne Greene, sister of Mrs Taylor, stayed in Sandy with the Taylor children while their parents were away. Grandmother, Mrs John Greene, spent the week end in Sandy at the Taylor home. Mr & Mrs Ernest Diederich visited last Saturday- - at the home of a daughter, Mr & Mrs Keith Urry and family, Salt Lake. That afternoon Mrs Diederich and Mrs Urry attended a fashion show in Salt Lake City. Mr & Mrs Albert Ray, Mrs Robert Jenkins, Mrs Glenn Long, and Mrs Raymond Cowdell attended funeral services Nov. 29, in Draper, for Mrs Mary Dow, mother of Mrs Thomas B. Sadler. Kenrick, Airman Richard son of Mr & Mrs Verio Kendrick, left last Saturday for Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, Calif., after spending a leave visiting his family and friends. At the Air Force base Airman Kendrick will be inventory management specialist. David Taul Johnson, son of Mr & Mrs Keith Johnson, Magna, spent last week end at the home of grandparents, Mr & Mrs Eldon Johnson and granddaughter Staycee Hanna. Mr & Mrs Walter Vande Cody, Wyo., became parents of a girl born Nov. 28 in a Cody hospital. Grandparents are Jesus Aguayo, Kearns, formerly of Bingham Canyon, and Mrs Mary Vande Veegaete, Powell, Wyo. The new mother is the former Dolores Aguayo. George Stauffer, Clearfield, visited recently in Copperton at the home of Mrs Florence Schick. Albert Ray was honored last Sunday on his birthday at a family dinner party. The public is invited. Tickets for the drawing may be purchased from any Lions member. Proceeds will go to the Lions Club Community Center. Car Hits Bridge Kills Sandy Man Funeral services were held Tuesday noon at the Sandy Fourth Ward for Frank Clark Mumford, 23, 409 W. Main, an-dwho died Dec. 2 of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was fatally injured about 9 p.m. when his car hit a bridge railing at Second South and First Eastin Sandy. Mr Mumford was driving west on Second South when his car apparently went out of control and hit the bridge which crosses the canal. Mr Mumford was born Jan. 2, 1943 in Murray to Frank M. and Kathryn Clark Mumford. He married Pamela Caldwell, Aug. 8, 1966, in Sandy.
