Mrs Stacy Nelson returned home to St. George after spending the holidays with her daughter and family, Mr & Mrs Johnstun. Grant Head, who is attending Stanford University at Palo Alto, Calif., spent 2 weeks with his mother Mrs Ireta Head. Mr & Mrs Lawrence Head and family, San Jose, Calif, spent part of the holidays with his mi ther Mrs Head and also visited her mother Mrs George Player, Midvale. Lawrence is teaching at the San Jose college. Mr & Mrs Paul Cook, the Dee Butterfields, Mrs Vera Hedman and Mrs Edna Jensen attended the show at the Valley Music home New Year's day. A New Year's day was enjoyed at the home of Mr & Mrs LaVell Johnstun. Guests included, Mr & Mrs George Saunders and daughter, Sandy; Mr & Mrs Jim Johnstun and family, Midvale, Mr & Mrs Dick Johnstun and son, White City; Owen Johnstun, Salt Lake and Mrs Carol Mann and home is in New York, ren, Cottonwood. Mr & Mrs David L. Gallacher, but are students at the BYU visited Thursday with their cousin, Mrs Edna Jensen. Friday, Mrs Jensen visited in Salt Lake with her mother Mrs Delia Prichard and her aunt Mrs Delia Pickering. Dr. & Mrs Jerry Forbush, Midway attended funeral services in Murray for her grandfather Lars Nelson, Sandy. Returning home after spending 2 weeks in Seattle Wash., were Mr & Mrs Melvin Walker. The trip was made by plane and they were guests at the home of their son and family, Mr & Mrs Milton Walker. While there they with a new got acquainted grandson, Milton Eugene, born Nov. 4. The baby is the first child of the Milton Walkers While in Seattle they also visit ea thier cousins Mr & Mrs Butler, former Union resi dents. Harold Madsen recently graduated from Boulder University in Colo., with a Doctor's degree in English, and is a faculty member of the BYU.
