Prepare at least one day ahead of time. Add milk, make dough soft enough to roll. Chill so it will handle easily. Divide dough in six roll each into a circle pieces about 6" diameter. Slice apples very thinly in center of pastry. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, dot with butter. Pull points together over apples, press edges firmly together. Bake at 425, 10 minutes, then 300 for 20 minutes longer.
