Peery has just completed serving an LDS mission in Houston, Texas and will be welcomed home on Dec. 29th at a 10:40 a.m. meeting in the Murray 17th ward, 6300 So. 300 East, Murray. The missionary is the son of Carl and Anna C. Peery of Murray and an open house will be held at their home following the meeting. Darrin is a graduate of Murray His wife lone and the children are hosting an open house to mark the event. It will be held at the West Jordan Stake Center, 7000 South and 2700 West. Friends and relatives are being invited to call between the hours of 2 to 5 p.m. They request no gifts. high. The honored man was born in Paris, Idaho on Christmas day, Dec. 25, 1905, the son of Arthur James and Cordelia (Delia) Davis Hymas. He married Ida Delvene Field on Oct. 26, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1968 after which Mer- rill married lone J. Clark in tit i -- . 1969. After spending his early years in Idaho, Merrill bought the 57 acre 'Bello Farm' located at the 'Old Orem Crossing' at 3500 South in Hunter. He farmed the land there until 1955 when he the property and built homes. The Hunter 20th LDS ward now stands on that site. lone and her late husband Gordan F. Clark became the parents of four daughters. They are Frances Hoffman, Sandy; Peggy Eden, Hunter; Annette Voyles, West Valley and Midge Clark, Salt Lake. sub-divid- They are grandparents of have 25 Mr. Hymas retired from Kenne-cot- t in 1969 after 42 years of service, primarily in supervision. His working career at Kennecott began on Nov. 8, 1928, the same day that Herbert Hoover was elected to the U.S. presidency. Elizabeth Aitken Muril A. Bodell will be honored on Saturday, Dec. 28th to celebrate his 80th birthday. Friends and relatives are being invited to call at the Jordan Ell reception center, 2295 W. 8200 South, West Jordan, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. No gifts are being requested. The honored man was born on 1, 1906, a son of John T. and Ann Eliza Freeman Bodell. He married Lottie Elizabeth Palmer on August 14, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. I fit 1 January I Atlanta Georgia Mission For Ryan J. Stott U He has lived, at various times, in Herriman and Sandy and now resides in Riverton, Utah. He worked in the Lark mines and owned and helped manage the Bodell Trailer Court until his retirement. An LDS mission to Atlanta, Georgia will soon be served by Ryan J. Stott of the Sandy 13th ward, 8650 South 220 East. A farewell will be held in his honor on Dec. 29, 1 p.m., at the above ward and will be followed immediately with an open house at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Stott, 8297 Romaine Drive. The future missionary will enter the training center on January 2, 1986. He is a graduate of Hillcrest high. He is father to eight children. They are Lola (Mrs. Chick) Nell; Colleen (Mrs. Everett) Parry; Kathy Ronald Bodell, Kim J. Bodell Beck-stea- A zBU I Mr. Bodell has, in addition, grandchildren and 43 d; and Chuck Bodell, all of Herriman; May (Mrs. Merrill) Butterfield, Yuma, Arizona and Kenneth A. Bodell who died in Vietnam in 1966. One of their favorite experiences has been serving an 18 month LDS mission in North Carolina. After returning they buit a home in West Jordan where they now reside. Merril and Delvene became the parents of seven children.
