The entertainment was given by Miss Nora Gleason's junior choir of St. Mary's cathedral, and was a very bright and clever amateur is production. Especial credit or due the juvenile orchestra, the juvenile portion of it assistthe ing Miss Gleason. Among notable specialties were the songs by Millie Williams, Clara Fafek, Margaret Connelley and Beatrice Williams, and the song and dance by Bernardine and boys Tommy Feeney. The two Gleawho, together with Miss son, formed the orchestra, were Edward Fitzpatrick and Frank Williams. Some of the little ones were not more than mere babies, and all were handled so aptly as to challenge the admiration of the audi?no. The grounds are said to be these: First, there was a dress rehearsal he play on Sunday In the Thewhich dancing was gone through with: second, that a number of young women of the church were in the show and wore skirts which were anywhere from ankle length to knee length, and. that perhaps a dozen were allowed to appear in bloomerp; third, that Mrs. King was absent from services at the church on four Sundays, this occurring during the preparation of the show. Mrs. King made the following statement concerning the case: 'It is true that I have given up the musical work at the church, but I don't care to say much about it. One or two things need explanation, though. "I understand that the fact that I was absent from four services is one of the grounds for the music board's action. MEMORY MENDING VThat Food Alone Can Do Memory. for the The influence of food upon the brain and memory is so little understood that people are Inclined to marvel at it. , Take a person who has ben living on improperly selected food and put him upon a scientific diet in which the food Grape-Nut- s is largely used and the increase of the mental power that follows Is truly remarkable. A Canadian who wc.s sent to Colorado for his health illustrates this point in a most convincing manner: "One year ago I came from Canada a nervous wreck, so my physician said, and reduced in weight to almost a skeleton, and my memory was so poor that conversations had to be repeated that had taken place only a few hours before. I was unable to rest day or night, for my nervous system was shattered. "The change of climate helped me a little, but it was soon seen that this was not all that 1 needed. I required the proper selection of1 food, although I did not realize it unt a friend recoms to me, and I gave mended Grape-Nutthis food - thorough trial. Then I realized what the right food could do and 1 began to change in my feelings and bodily condition. This kept up until now, after six months' use of Grape-Nut- s, all my nervous trouble has entirely disappeared, I have gained In flesh all that I had lost, and what is niore wonderful to me than anything else, my memory is as good as it ever was. Truly, Grape-Nut- s has remade rne all over, mind and body, when I never expected to be well and happy again." Name given by Postum Co., Battle Creek, Mich. There's a reason.
