Peck, an employee of the Tonopah Mining company, at Tonopah, New, has just completed a house made entirely of beer bottles, which is the only-onof its kind in the world. Ten thousand bottles were required to build the edifice, which contains two rooms eight by ten feet, with the ceilings eight feet high, The high price of lumber in that mining camp-makeit impossible to build a frame house without investing a small fortune. The commonest kind of lumber is worth $65 per thousand feet and an inferior grade of scrub cedar costs $22 e a cord. The beer bottles did not cost Peck anything, and the heaviest expense attached to the building of this queer structure was the water with which mud and plaster was made, and which costs $1.50 per barrel. The north and west ends are built of green colored bottles and the other sides are almost black. The walls inside are plastered with lime, which is spread deep enough to cover the necks of the bottles. If r ACH 6 UNTIL 9 O'CLOCK. Broken Line Lot of Corsets, up to $5 Values$ 1 .25.
