A joint committee appointed by the American Medical association and the American Pharmaceutical association to study and report on the plans of the proposed national bureau of medicines and food is said to have received information that a majority of i7:anufacturers of proprietary medicines favor the movement. The object of the bureau is to secure uniformity of standards in medicines and food.
