The Cougars outscored Ari zona on every event except rings and trampoline and took first place on aU events except floor exercise and rings. BYU ended up with a final team score of 178.10 to Ari- t - 173.10. The top gymnast in the meet was Wildcat gymnast Jeff Ben- non, current WAC all around leader, who maintained super-mac- y on floor exercise with a first place. He also snared second places on vaulting and parallel bars and thirds on side horse, rings and tram- - I poline.
