Show Heart of State Gets Salute In Progress Edition This is the Herald's Annual Greater Central Utah Edition. Its publication is our way of boosting this area of publicizing the abundance of the good things of life we have here in the heart of the state and particularly in the region comprising UtahTTuab and Wasatch Counties. i Many people help us each year, making the a joint or cooperative enterprise. Cities, coun ties, business institutions, industrial firms, clubs and organizations these have supported the Progress Edition with advertisements which make the issue financially possible. Many people have supplied in--' formation, written articles, or furnished pictures. Withal, we believe the 1967 edition is one of the big gest if not the biggest in Herald history. " , Theme of Edition Over the years, the Progress Issue has carried out a number of appropriate themes "Windows of Tomorrow," "Hub and Heart of Progress," "Central Utah Around the World," "In the Orbit of Opportun ity," "What's in Store Through '64f "Forward With the Future," "Salute to the Soaring Sixties," etc. This year's issue features "The Best of Central Utah," a theme which has many facets and gives wide latitude for publicizing the many facets of the area. Besides helping to develop greater awareness on the part of Central Utahns of the many advantages of their region and state, the Progress Edition will carry the message to many people across the country; indeed many copies will go to foreign countries.
