Lanzilotti pf Pearl River, NX, (himself a congenital myope) are not taking this situation lying down. Dr. Lanzilotti has joined with Mrs. Sylvia N. Rachlin, executive vice president of the Myopia Research Foundation, in launching an program of research into the causes and means of preventing widespread affliction. Mrs. Rachlin, a victim of degenerative myopia complicated by cataracts in both eyes, has formally petitioned Congress to establish a National Myopia Center under the U. S. PubUc Health Service with an information department for the benefit of physicians and myopia patients everywhere. The day may arrive when the nation's nearsighted will be able to throw aside their glasses and see the world clear and unblurred. - is a famous Old Western town.
