Drs. Jerome Rabow and Lamar Empey of the Treatment Center, and Judge Monroe Pax-maand Alice Rowley of the Youth Advisory Council each spoke briefly to the club on the work of the Advisory Council and Treatment Center, and participated in the . presentation ceremonies. Dr. Empey, who has spent several years developing the project which led to establishment of the Treatment Center explained briefly that the objective is to prevent incarceration of advanced delinquency cases and to provide discussion- and proper guidance to keep boys on juvenile probation out of jail. He said that in four years and during the treatment of many cases; only two during. the treatment and one after graduation have had to be sent to the Industrial School in Ogden. Dr. Rabow, who directs the activities, at. the Treatment Center, where boys are brought every day after school and on Saturdays from all over the county, also stated that he has been most impressed by the comimuniity interest and coopera-to- n in the project.
