PARK CITY FILM: ‘MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET’ Park City Film will present a free screening of George Seaton’s “Miracle on 34th Street” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. In this Christmas classic, an old man going by the name of Kris Kringle (Edmund Gwenn) fills in for an intoxicated Santa in Macy’s annual Thanksgiving Day parade. Kringle proves to be such a hit that he is soon appearing regularly at the chain’s main store in midtown Manhattan. When Kringle surprises customers and employees alike by claiming that he really is Santa Claus, it leads to a court case to determine his mental health and, more importantly, his authenticity. Creations have given Allison Badell a new creative purpose SCOTT IWASAKI The Park Record Three years ago, Allison Badell escaped from an abusive relationship in the middle of the night. She was living in Montana and made a run for it, but she didn’t escape unscathed.
