Park City Film Series: ‘Final Portrait’ Park City Film Series will present Stanley Tucci’s “Final Portrait,” rated R, through Sunday, May 20, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Saturday’s screenings will start at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. “Final Portrait” is the story of the friendship between American writer and art lover James Lord, portrayed by Arnie Hammer, and world-famous artist Alberto Giacometti, played by Geoffrey Rush. As told through Lord’s eyes, the story reveals insight into the beauty, frustration, profundity and sometimes chaos of the artistic process. Saturday Morning Nature Walks at the Swaner Preserve Saturday morning nature walks are held at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday at the Swaner EcoCenter. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closed-toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver. Sunday, May 20 Family Yoga Fundraiser Randi Jo Taurel will host a family yoga session at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20, at Little Miners Montessori School, 1091 Beehive Drive. The session will raise funds for the Devoted 2 Children Summer Camp in Haiti. Devoted 2 Children Foundation is a nonprofit that runs an orphanage in Haiti for children ages six to 17. CONNECT Summit County Brain Storm Film Festival: ‘Heaven is a Traffic Jam on the 405’ CONNECT Summit County’s Brain Storm Film Festival will present a free screening of the Academy Award-winning documentary “Heaven Is a Traffic Jam on the 405,” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Directed by Frank Stiefel, “Heaven Is a Traffic Jam on the 405” is about artist Mindy Alper’s struggle with anxiety and depression. Based on Peter Cattaneo’s cult hit movie, “The Full Monty” is about six unemployed factory workers who set out to make some quick cash showing off their “real man” bodies as male strippers.
