Students will work with a basic limited palette and learn about various types of light and shadow and a brief discussion of color theory. Park City Film Series: ‘Bugs’ Park City Film Series will present a free screening of Andreas Johnsen’s “Bugs,” not rated, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. With global food shortages on the horizon, forward-thinking chefs, environmentalists and food scientists are turning toward an unexpected source of protein: insects. “Bugs” is an artful and thoughtful new documentary that provides a perfect entry point to insect cuisine. For three years, a cast of charming and brave food adventurers from the Nordic Food Lab traveled the world-from Europe to Australia, Mexico, Kenya, Japan and beyond-to learn what some of the two billion people who already eat insects had to say. Connections Group With Peace House Peace House, a local nonprofit dedicated to wiping out domestic violence in Summit and Wasatch counties, will offer Brene Brown’s 12-week “Shame Resiliency” Connections class at noon every Thursday. This group is free and open to all genders and ages with domestic violence and sexual assault victimization history, including emotional abuse and abuse and neglect in childhood. Park City Film Series: ‘The Death Of Stalin’ Park City Film Series will present Armando Iannucci’s “The Death Of Stalin,” rated R, from Friday, April 27, to Sunday, April 292, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Friday and Saturday screenings will start at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. “The Death Of Stalin,” a comedy, depicts the frantic power struggle that ensued in the Soviet Union after the death of tyrannical dictator Joseph Stalin. Combining palace intrigue with rapid-fire farce, this audacious comedy is a takedown of bureaucratic dysfunction. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $7 for students and senior citizens. Saturday, April 28 Honduras Mission Fundraiser Rummage Sale Participants of Mountain Life Church’s family mission trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with Jericho Ministries in June will host a rummage sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Mountain Life Church, 7375 N. Silver Creek Road. Jericho Ministries provides a safe home for children that have been rescued from the streets.
