An Evening with Author and ESPN Reporter Kate Fagan CONNECT Summit County, a local nonprofit that raises awareness about mental health issues, will present an evening with author and ESPN reporter Kate Fagan at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, at the Park City Hospital’s Blair Education and Conference Center, 900 Round Valley Drive at Quinn’s Junction. Fagan will discuss her book “What Made Maddy Run: The Secret Struggles and Tragic Death of an All-American Teen,” which is about college athlete Madison Holleran, who died from suicide in 2014. Connections Group With Peace House Peace House, a local nonprofit dedicated to wiping out domestic violence in Summit and Wasatch counties, will offer Brene Brown’s 12-week “Shame Resiliency” Connections class at noon every Thursday. This group is free and open to all genders and ages with domestic violence and sexual assault victimization history, including emotional abuse and abuse and neglect in childhood.
