Friday, Jan. 12 Park City Film Series: ‘Lady Bird’ The Park City Film Series will present Greta Gerwig’s Golden Globe-winning “Lady Bird,” rated R, from Friday, Jan. 12, to Sunday, Jan 14, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Friday and Saturday screenings will start at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. “Lady Bird” is about Christine (Saoirse Ronan), a senior at a Catholic high school, who argues all the time with her wildly loving, deeply opinionated and strong-willed mother (Laurie Metcalf). The film is partly autobiographical for director Greta Gerwig and set in Sacramento in 2002. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $7 for students and senior citizens. Saturday, Jan. 13 Park City Institute Presents Pink Martini Park City institute will present Pink Martini, with special guest Perla Batalla, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. The concert is the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Center 20th anniversary party. Pink Martini is known for crossing genres of jazz, classical and pop. Perla Batalla is a Grammy-nominated singer who is no stranger to the Park City Institute. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closed-toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver.
