Each clinic includes safety, grip, stance, putting, chipping, full swing, course etiquette and rules. Golf clubs will be furnished, if needed. Each camp is four days, including a Play Day, dates listed below. The play day includes a lunch following play on the golf course. Camp One will be held from June 1215, while Camp Two will be from June 19-22. Both will be from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $165 per session. DROP-IN PICKLEBALL Basin Recreation hosts free Drop-In Pickleball at Trailside Park every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There are four lined courts setup each day. There is always a playing rotation so that no one is left out or sitting for too long. Pickleball is a great fun for anyone looking for sunshine, exercise and friendly competition. Four months and over 400 inches of snow later, which included handfuls of powder days, those same people wouldn’t dare question the Wasatch Front again. Both local ski resorts, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort, closed their lifts for the 2016-17 season on Sunday, but not before a countless number of good times were had. “It’s been a fantastic year all the way around,” said Bob Wheaton, Deer Valley’s President and General Manager. “We had a slow start. We were behind like three weeks with snowmaking, but we quickly caught up. Mother Nature started smiling and it started snowing. People were happy and life was grand.” Park City Mountain’s Chief Operating Officer Bill Rock had similar sentiments about the winter season. The lifts were closed for the season at Park City Mountain on Sunday. “Fantastic season,” Rock said. “We’re happy to be done, but at the same time, we’ll look back on the season with a lot of pride.
