Show Utah County Fruit Growers Invited to Meet GUV Aid j -- Promised To Council -- nty The annual state fruit growers short course will be held- in Salt Lake at the. Hotel. Utah Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13. These programs will begin at 9: 15 a.m. with a film on methods of packing apples. Speakers of the day will be, C. S. Travel includes transportation cost to send patients home and cost of social workers in the field. Small capital outlay included expenses as new buying chickens for the farm, furniture for wards, and equipment. The superintendent expressed regret that no appropriations are available for wage increases, and said the board of examiners set salaries. Under the existing state plan, the hospital superintendent does not know what 'salary step a new physician might be hired at, he said. Attendants beginning pay ht $200 during training; upped to $220 in six months; with a maximum pay of $280 in Class I, or $310 in supervisory capacity. , The hospital had a peak resident population of 1389 in March, 1955, but this number has dropped to 1178 current population, despite increased admittances.
