PedersenJ .recognized as"Cache Valley's Abraham. Lincoln," will present readings from Lincoln Thursday! at 9:45 a. m. in the George Albert Smith Field-hous- e at Brigham Young University. Dr. Pedrsen is dean emeritus of the College of Arts and Sciences at Utah State University. He is throughout Utah of the famous presfor his studies ident and his presentations of Lincoln's works. ' Dr. , Pedersen usually makes his presentations dressed and made up to appear as The works of Emile Carl Nizet, Belgian landscape painter, who has now settled in Utah, are on exhibit at the art gallery at the Provo Utility Center until Aug. 2. The exhibit opened July 1, and tiie gallery is open on Satur. days from 2 to 9 p. m. Mr. Nizet, a native of Belgium Is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Liege, Belgium, and has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts, at Seraing, Belgium. His work has been on exhibit in Belgium, Paris, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany and Brazil. Paintings of Mr. Nizet are found in the museums in Belgium. Lincoln. Holland, Germany, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Columbia, Wins Brazil, United States, and at the Graduate courts of Belgium and Egypt.
