The Real McCoys" is a situation comedy for the entire family, played against a western background and filled with the heart, humor and grass roots honesty of real people. In the first chapter, Walter Brennan, as Grandpa Amos McCoy, and bis grandchildren, Luke, Hassie, Little Luke and Luke's bride, Kate, after a long hard trip reach their new home in bhe San Fernando Valley. It seems beautiful to the family, albeit a bit but it isn't very long before Grandpa Amos becomes homesick for his old cronies. Not even Pepino, an employe who comes with the ranch, can console him. Tonight starring the Nelson family Ozzie, Harriet, David and Rick as themselves, will launch its sixth season on TV Monday, Oct. 7, with "Fixing Up the Fraternity House," 8 p.m. In the new season premiere, David and his fraternity brothers decide to put on a big dance in order to raise money to fix up their fraternity house.
