I I I I I 12-in- Dear Miss Barrows: Last Summer Grandfather, Daddy, and I went fishing. We fished until noon without any luck so we started up the creek to another place. As we were walking through the tall weeds, Grandfather and Daddy went ahead to watch for snakes. But unknowingly they stirred up a bumblebees' nest and since I was behind them, the bumblebees took after me. I had dozens of bumblebees on me when Daddy came to the rescue. With his hat he fought them off, and Daddy and I went home with big bumps on our ears, noses, and shoulders. Grandfather? He was sore from laughing. He said he never saw such action! Sincerely, Gerald Farnsworth Chamois, Mo. Age 11 ch I I I I I I I I I Dear Miss Barrows: I live with my Grandmother and Grandaddy in Florida.
