Walker, bishop of the , Ma-thias- en -- I ' s Olpin-Sund-bu- d young woman, she was employed by' Lucien Hinckley in Prdvo. She married Victor Michael Andersen Dec. 19, 1900, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and they made their first home in Lehi, later establishing their home in Vineyard. An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Andersen had served as YWMIA president, secretary of the Relief Society, and Relief Society teacher. In- - died Nov. 22, 1952. Survivors include, three sons and three daughters, Howard M. and Bernard O. Andersen, both of Orem; Lester V. Andersen, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Mrs. James V. (Iris) Nuttall and Mrs. El-dred T. (Norma) Lewis, both of Idaho FaUX Ida-Mrs. James T (Barbara) Jackson, Salt Lake City; ,30. grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; one brother and one sister, Benjamin Larsen, Long Beach, Calif ., and Mrs. Chris (Mary) C h r I s t e n s e n, Vaughn, Mont, Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Chapel, with Bishop Ray Gammon, of the Vineyard LDS Ward, officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Thurs- day evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in Provo City Cemetery. Funeral services for Gerda B. Nordquist, 63, 235 S. 2nd E., Salt Lake City, who died in Provo Saturday after an illness, will be held Tuesday at noon at 36 E. 7th S., Salt Lake. Miss Nordquist was a sister of Mrs. James N. Miss Nordquist was born Feb. 17, 1893, in Malmo, Sweden, daugh- ter j of Gustave C. and Emma Nel- son Nordquist. Her parents came to Utah in May, 1893, as converts to the LDS Church. Miss Nordquist was a member of the Webster LDS Ward, where sang' in the ward choir. f She taught Sunday School and Primary in the Ninth LDS Ward for many years. Survivors are three brothers, Edwin G. (Dick) Nordquist, Carl E. Nordquist, and Martin F. (Mart) Nordquist, Salt Lake City; and one sister, Mrs. Hall. Utah, son of John J. and Lois Sylvira Turnbow Benson, and I received his education there and at Brigham Young University. He filled an LDS mission in the Central tates, returning to Woodland. He married Isabelle Fern Williams Dec. 11, 1912, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they made their home in Ioka, Utah, where he farmed. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1918, where he worked for Cloverleaf Dairy, returning later to the Uintah Basin. They made their home in Roosevelt, where Mr. Benson farmed until 1950, when- they moved to Provo. He had woried at Dugway Proving Ground since, where he was supervisor of ground maintenance at the time of his death.
