Mecham of American' Fork and "Shirl R. Gronernan of Provo.' Announcement of the plans is made this week by Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Thell Mecham, parents of the bride-elec- t. and Mrs. Oran M. Groneman are the parents of the prospective bridegroom. The ceremony will be performed in the , , Salt Lake LDS Temple. Parents of the bride will honor them with ,a wedding reception on the evening of the marriage in Firmage Hall in American Fork. Following a honeymoon trip through the Pacific Northwest and down the California coast the newly-wed- s will return to Provo fortheir home. Miss Mecham is a graduate of the American Fork High School and the LDS Seminary. At school she jvas affiliated with Kappa Delta' Alpha, dramatic club; the girls Pep Club, National Forensic League, Future Homemakefs of America and the ladies Glee Club. In her senior year she was a member of the Forkaster, school paper staff. Since graduation in May she has been employed in the local telephone office. Mr. Groneman is a graduate of the Provo High School where prominent in the art department. He was a member of the football team for! two years. He is now a member of the Springville unit of the national guard, and employed near Provo. - - . he-wa- .
