The Pleasant Grove police car, its siren going preceded the parade down Main Street.' The procession was led by Norman Eaklns on a, horse carrying the American flag, followed by banners and flags of the. primary colors. One girl in a large pair of high heels wheeled her four dolls in a gay buggy, and another girl had a real baby in a doll buggy and it proved to be quite 'a task to see that the baby kept drinking milk from a' bottle. There were nursery rhymes depicted, pets shown, and floats both humorous and lovely. ll Following the parade was a game between Grove Ward and Lindon Ward with Lindon being victorious by three points. A horseshoe pitching contest was carried on under the direction of Manila Ward with Ronald Iverson and Richard Warnlck proclaimed champions.
