The Firemen and Auxiliary dinner group will hold a conjoint dinner next Monday evening, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. O CIVIC CENTER HOOP TOURNEY TO BE PLAYED AT COPPERTON MONDAY Finals in the Civic Center Basketball Bas-ketball Tournament will be played in the Bingham High School gymnasium gym-nasium at Copperton thia Monday night, March 30, starting at 6 p.m. according to Charlie Bates, in charge of the Civic Center basketball basket-ball program. The PeeWee league consisting of grade school players, plays at 6:00 p.m.; the Junior league, comprised of junior high players, plays at 7:00 p.m., and the Senior league which has such great college stars as Pearl Pollard, Jack Mannion, Berrett, Crump, McCleery, Rupp and Leo is scheduled to play at 8:00 p.m. The public is invited to come and watch these finals. Admission is adults, 75 cents, and high school students, 25 centa. A total of 25 teams have been participating in the Civic Center basketball league, Mr. Bates reported. re-ported. Mrs. Idella Watkins was hostess to her foursome last Thursday night. Samba was played with Mrs. Carrie Doyle scoring high for the evening. Others present were Mrs. Beverly Moore and Mrs. Alice Burke. Lovely refreshments were served. A. L. (Shorty) Nelson, who has been in St. Mark's Hospital for a-bout a-bout two weeks, came home from the hospital last Saturday, Mar. 21. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Zdunich and family of Ely, Nev., arrived last night (Thursday) to spend the Easter week end with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hennings and son, Bobby. Mrs. Eugene Morris is leaving Friday (today) to spend the Easter week end with her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hawks and family of Portage. Enjoying a delightful party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Visher in Murray last Saturday evening ev-ening were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zaccaria, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lovat, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Susaeta, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Susaeta and Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Susaeta. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bentley visited in Midvale Wednesday with their daughter and husband, .Mr. and Mrs. Orley Bills and family. The occasion celebrated Mra. Bent-ley'a Bent-ley'a birthday anniversary. Mrs. Mabel Brimhall returned home Wednesday from her trip to California. The Firemen's Auxiliary met Monday evening as guests of Mra. Verio Kendrick. Bridge was played and prizes won by Mrs. Shirl Scroggin, Scro-ggin, Mrs. Boyd Anderson, Mrs Don Prigmore and Mrs. Jack Householder House-holder Jr. Lovely refreshments served by the hostess.
