It has won top rating for Utah cowity among all county exhibits, although no prizes are given to determine a first, second or third place winner in this division. The exhibit, considered mong the most novel at the fair, projects Utah counv on the state of Utah, which is in turn projected from the United States. The entire exhibit forms part of the globe, with the universe as a background. Choice fruits from all over the county are used to form the novel map, with the different states comprised of fruits of contrasting colors. . - Other agricultural products of the county are arranged around the map to fill out the exhibit. Designer of the exhibit was Dick Gunn, arid the committee which built it included Joel T. Barlow, assistant county agent: Verl G. Dixon, Utah county commissioner, and Dr. Eldon Beck. Wives of several committee members assisted in the preparation. Fruit and vegetables for the exhibit were all donated without cost by various farmers from Paysoo to Lehi. Because a state fair is predominantly agricultural injtherae, ancf because Utah county, despite the prom nee of other industries within its borders, is stiU one of the state's leading agricultural counties, the farming thente was cho.sen this year for the county exhibit to the . exclusion of all others.
