Show Central Utah American Fork Ready for Biggest Labor Celebration in State' News Briefs 1-- Day By DEN A S. GRANT AMERICAN FORK jam-pack- i 1 An air of gay festivity prevails in American Fork, as hundreds .here are working at top speed to complete preparations for the seventh annual Steel day celebration on Monday, Sept. 3. The fete will literally start with a "bang" at day break when salutes fired by the national guard will officially herald the beginning of what has come to be known as he biggest one-da- y Labor day celebration in the state. Record crowds are anticipated to enjoy a day of holiday events to include morning and evening mammoth parades, children's bicycle races, flower and art exhibits, baseball game, horse shoe pitching tournament, vaudeville show, evening out door1951 ear and the awarding of a official Queen's ball. Many Events Carnival rides, concession stands in Robinson city park, continuous shows from noon until midnight at the two motion picture houses, and other events will fill in the holiday celebration schedule.
