Prove, Utah County, Utah I 4 Springville Matron Will Be Honored V i ) Winter Playgrounds Beckon Social Groups As Winter Makes Late Arrival it -- w-- 4 :: M if SPRINGVILLE Honorlnc Mrs. Ella Wheeler Reynolds on the occasion of her 73th birthday, family members are planning an open house reception on Sun day, January 21, between th hours of 4 and 6 p. m. to which they are lavitlng relatives and friends. The reception will bm held at the home of the honored matron, 100 South Second East, i Mrs. R eynolds, affectionately known as Grandma Reynolds to old and young alike, was born in Springville, January 20, 1878, and has made her home her all J her life. Still extremely active in manyj capacities, she has served at president of the Mother's study club and as captain of th DUP Camp Springville, and has taught In most of the auxiliary organizations of the LDS church as welt as serving in the presidencies o a number of them. Her devotion to the beauties of nature has made the spacious4 garden which surrounds the Iotm rambling home a site of beauty at all seasons, and she takes se cret delight in distributing gar-- i den vegetables, fruits and lovely bouquets of flowers to neighbors, friends and families who might need a bit of cheer or Just for J gay surprise. Her husband, the late J. O.i Reynolds, was a prominent buU ness man in this community opJ erating a men's clothing store fof; a number of years. He was also prominent in church activities.
