The Springville Red Devils garnered 28 points in winning the Class B crown, to 26 for Cyp-r- ui 4nd 24 for Payson. Fayson won the Region Three title last v week. The Lions, who were trying to round out a great athletic year by annexing the state Class B track crown, could have taken the meet by winning the pole vault last event to be completed. . BAC Captures Junior College Track Meet Conference Okehs South American Hoop Tour for T Conference approval for Brig-haYoung university's basketball team to make a summer tour of' South America was received Saturday from Skyline Six Commissioner Dick Romney, according to Athletic Director Eddie Kimball. The approval paved the way to continue negotiations with South American schools with the aim of getting definite commitments for the tour, Kimball said. Negotiations have been underway for sometime through LDS mission officials in Brazil, but no commitments have been made pending conference approval of the tour. Kimball said Romney approved the tour after polling the rest of the conference and encountering no objections. If arrangements go through, the championship Cougars will leave in June and be gone three weeks to a month.
