V. : Mrs. Verlon Scott, the former Doro welcomed friends at a wedding shower given in thy Holm, her honor at the Fifth LDS ward chapel Friday evening! Gowned in a. simply cut afternoon dress of nile green satin with corsage of red roses,! new Mrs. Scott, with her Mrs. True mother, Mrs. Ellieta Holm, and her mother-in-laScott, Provo, greeted guests at the door. Background music was played by Margaret Anderson SPANISH FQkK w, Norma Tucker ' was mistress of ceremonies for the program. Numbers included musical reading by Lou Ann La and Colleen McKee, accompanied by Louise Mitchell; readings by Bonnie Banks and. Bobby Bradford; vocal selections by the Car as sisters; accordion numbers by Louise Snell; toast to the' bride, Faye Bearnson; original song by Joyce Simmons, Ann Jex and Chloe Jenkins. Refreshments were served unT der direction of Mrs. Jack Argyle, Mrs. Ellison Holm and June and Lucille Scott, assisted by Miss Simons, Miss Jex, Miss Jenkins, Blanche Gardner uand Dorthella Erickson. Popular Miss Robison and lier fiance will be united in marriage June 7 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Miss Robison and Mr. Lewis will both graduate from Brigham Young university, she with a major in sociology and he with a major in geology. Miss Robison, a graduate of Provo high school, was affiliated during her sophomore year at BYU with Y Calcares, Mr. Lewis, a member and "secretary of Sigma Gamma Epsilon fraternity at BYU, is a veteran of two and a half years' service with the navy during World War II. ; !
