Kill on Patti Trexler Chynoweth 79923-362- 8 Dorothy Palmer Greaves Dorothy Palmer Greaves, 85, long time resident of San Diego, California, passed away peacefully in Orem, Utah, May 28, 2008. She was born 25, 1922, in Pres- August ton, Idaho to JedediahM. and Anna Rosella Fors-gre- n Palmer. Dottie grad- uated from Preston High School and married Stewart Geddes Greaves in the Logan IDS Temple January 3, 1942. They are the parents of one daughter, Patricia. They lived in Missoula, Montana, Great Lakes, Illinois, and Pocatello, Idaho, before moving to San Diego, CA in 1953. Dottie worked as an Executive Secretary at the Astronautics Division of ConvairGeneral Dynamics and later as the Executive Director of the San Diego County Dental Society for over 30 years. Dottie loved her work for the dental society and she retired at age 72. Dottie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints and served faithfully in many callings. After retiring she served with Stew in the San Diego Temple. Dottie enjoyed good music and loved singing in the choir and playing the organ. She was known for her generous hospitality to family and friends visiting San Diego and for her devotion to family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven sisters and one brother. Survivors include her daughter, Patti Greaves of Orem, UT. She is also survived by sisters-in-laHelen Burrup of Preston, ID, Melba Palmer of Aberdeen, ID, brothers-in-laSpencer Winn of Preston, ID, Glade Burgon of Farmington, UT, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cascade Chapel at the Sundberg-OlpiMortuary, 495 South State St., Orem.
