Photo album fun for children It's the Sale Dear Heloise: When my grandchildren were small and we dug out photo albums, as to be expected, they wanted to look at them, too. But, since small children often don't understand the importance of handling carefully, occasionally mishaps occurred. I purchased an album, cut pictures of animals from magazines and made the children their own album that they could look, at anytime they You've tried Paint... Now try chose to do so. It provided countless hours of fun at least two years. Hope this hint is helpful to families everywhere. Barbara Wardlow, Houston, Texas cut it. It works great! Jack Stewart, Carson City, Nev. This is a handy hint and one that my mother published in the column back in the 1960s. She also tied a ribbon to the scissors we used to cut the pizza so we would know which pair of scissors to use. Thanks for the memory. Heloise HELP FULL HINTS Dear Heloise: I love to travel. Two women who worked for Mifwaukee County Medical Examiner Jeffrey Jentzen contend they were victims of harassment, humiliation and discrimination because of the tie requirement. Patricia Martin and Daphne .Moutry Allen said they were singled out for retaliation by managers after they complained about the policy forcing women, as well as men, to wear neckties. A hearing on Wednesday was. the first step in a civil '" lawsuit that could go to federal court, a lawyer for one of the women said. Alice DeLao, an administrative law judge, can issue penalties if she finds discrimination but said the hearing probably would not resume until summer. Though the necktie policy was rescinded last December, the women said they lost pay when they were suspended and sent home for not wearing V ties to work. THE WEEK OF APRIL 17TH, WE'RE THE PRIMARY REASON FOR OUR SUCCESS. I '' Mm Mm Breakout attempt CINCINNATI (AP)-- With a fax machine, a typewriter and what a judge thinks is a doctored version of a legal brief, someone tried to break an inmate out of an Ohio prison. That attempt failed and Raymond Akins, 25, was kept behind bars at a Columbus-are- a prison. The escape attempt began Tuesday when a court document marked "URGENT' arrived at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The document declared that Akins should be immediately released because his conviction for strangling his girlfriend was a mistake. The paperwork carried the signatures of a judge, a prosecutor and a defense attorney. The names were real, but the signatures were phony. Authorities called a judge to verify whether the order was correct. "It's a fake," said Judge Richard Niehaus of Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, who sentenced Akins in February to 15 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. "It's pretty interesting, but it's not the real thing." 6 C U S TO MER APPRECIATION WEE K, A P R I L 17 - 2 1 For an entire week, your local Zions Bank branch will be throwing a party that you simply can't miss.
