Citv Council of Sait Lake Citv, That the Salt Lake City Railroad Company, its successors and assigns, have the autuority and consent of the City Council and the permission U hereby granted it, to construct and operate by electric or cable motive power, a double track street railroad, towith all the necessary switches and turngether outs for the accommodation of said road, on the following streets of said city, namely: From the oenter of the intersection of First street and West Temple -- treet; thence south ou West Temple street to Tenth South or Roper street; thenco east on Tenth South or to street the oenter of Kant Temple or Koper Main street: Provided, that on said 'West street from jinth South street south toTemple street a single track only shall be laid, andRoper provided further, th&t the owners dedicate property s continuous strip of land at least ten feet' in width abutting on and adjacent to said street to the city for street purposes, between Ninth South and Roper streets on said West Temple Street. On the conditions, viz: Such track or tracks following to be laid on such grade as are now or may 'hereafter be established by tbe City Council.
