Fleming Wikeel3, whose anniversary will occur on Wednesday, will be hon ored in a family dinner at his home with Mrs. Wakefield acting as hostess. Mr. Wakefield Is a Provo resi dent of many years and well known for his work as Utah' State bee inspector. He was born in Fountain Green, Jan. 13, 1872. When he was eight his family moved to Huntington where he resided until his marriage, April 11. 1X0 to Emma Higgs of Orangeville, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Soon after, the couple tame to Provo when they have ilnce resided. a Mr. Wakefield bachelor of arts' degree from Brigham Young University and served as an educator for 37 years. He has kept hundreds of colonies of bees and was state nspector for six years, also pres cient of the state association. Interested in writing; Mr. Wakefield wrote regularly for the Utah Farmer and prepared a course of study In bee culture for the USAC and the BYU and is still on the staff at BYU. He has written many poems and Is i member of Provo Chapter, Lea gue of Utah Writers. The couple's three children are .
