Y. V. still admits that it has an abundance of excellent material. The small "Y" floor was covered Saturday night with some of the finest "horseflesh" that ever stepped into a Provo gymnasium. This material is almost completely unsorted, however, and time will not permit of such real 'sorting. The B. V. I. squad has had less than two weeks of hard practice and most of this time has been spent in stirring up the material, hoping that it might settle and coalesce into something promising. Kenneth Anderson, former guard on the Weber Normal team, gave some indication that he might possibly work his way to the "V" guard line. Anderson is fast and at times clever. His "dancing" tactics, however, lost the hill for his team nnd jio less than a half dozen times in the critical parts of the second half, when continued possession would have brought victory to the B. Y. V. Ingersol of American Fork presents a fine appearance on the floor and appears to have an instinct for position. It might be truer to assert that back of this "instinct" lies the good coaching of Dixon iKissibly Earl Ilolmstend. has a permanent berth on the "Y" team.
