During the past two or three mouths the property has been de veloped under the direction of John W. Hughes of Bangor, Pa, an experienced slate man. Mr. Hughes has had tour or five men working with him on the property for some time opening Up the face of the slate quarries. The dirt has been removed from two outcroppings of the deposit. The largest of these outcroppings is about 70 feet wide and about 90 feet high.
