The motion to that effect was made by J. M. Creer of Spanisli Fork and seconded by City Commissioner Charles Hopkins. Before a vote was taken on the motion considerable discussion ensued as to the feasibility of carrying on a building program at this time. Those speaking in favor of postponing the completion of the ! building for another year were of the opinion that the financial conditions at the present are too strenuous for the taxpayers of the county to be abte to bear the additional burden. Those speaking in favor of the immediate completion of the building said that if it. was allowed to remain unfinished for any period the deterioration would amount to more than the interest on the money to complete tlio construe-lion.
