Adondakis, 23, is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Adon-dakis, and a graduate of Bingham High School. Bingham Ward Primary Starting next week, Bingham Ward Primary will meet on Tues-day afternoons at 3:00 p.m. in-stead of Mondays, it was announc-ed this week. A tiara of white, silver gilded rose- - Bingham Ward n and Cleaners are holding a social at the Bingham wardhouse this Tues-day night, October 21, at 7:30 p.m. it is announced. October meeting of the W.B.A. was held Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Heber Nichols in Copperton. A regular business meeting was conducted following which bridge was played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Helen Sullen-ger- , Mrs. Carrie Doyle and Mrs. W.D.S. Brown. Lovely refresh-ments were served by the hostess after cards. Mrs. Gertrude Matson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Sampsel and daughter, Renae, from El Monte, Calif., are conference visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bentley. While here Renae was in an automobile accident and is con-fined in LDS Hospital with a bro-ken clavicle. Bingham Ward Mutual is giving a special program titled "Praise Ye the Lord" at the Bingham ward house on Sunday evening, Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m. it was announced this week. Holy Rosary Altar Society met last Friday night at the BCO Hall for a regular meeting. Hostesses were Mrs. Pat Peterson and Mrs. Carrie Doyle. Twenty-thre- e were in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wolfe, former Bingham residents, now of Mountain View, Calif., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Murray on Saturday and with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones of Kearns, Sunday. Entre Nous Club met Wednes-day evening as guests of Mrs. Verl Peterson. Bridge was played and prizes were won by Mrs. Axel Sybrowsky, first; Mrs. Miles Gaytii-wait- e, second; Mrs. Dean Ham, consolation, and Mrs. W, C. Carter house. Lovely refreshments were served by the hostess. Carrigan, Mrs. Joe Dispenza, Mrs. Mike Zampos with Mrs. Sam Feraco as chairman. Next regular meeting of the club will be Wednesday evening, November 12, at the Civic Center. Yvonne Sarrao, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cirilo Sarrao of Bingham, has been offered the privilege of attending and working as a staff member of Patton Mental Hospital in San Bernardino, Calif., during the spring quarter of the University of Utah. While working as a staff member, she will receive 18 college credit hours from the U. of U. She will leave for California sometime in March and will return to the U. of U. on June I, 1959, in order to graduate on the 6th of June, 1959, as a recreational therapist. She will be accompanied by two other recreational students also from the U. They are Pat Metruai and T. J. Otterbein. All expenses will be paid by the Patton Mental Hos-pital. Bingham Midvale Eagles Auxil-iary met Wednesday evening, Oc-tober 1 5, at Midvale, for a regular meeting with Mrs. Anna Murray and Mrs. Idella Watkins hostesses for the evening. Sixteen members were present. Next meeting will be Wednesday evening, Nov. 5. Mrs. Dean Lipsey entertained her evening bridge club Wednes-day evening. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Verio Kendrick, first; Mrs. Wally Swenson, second; and Mrs. A. J. Sargent, consolation. Lovely refreshments were served. Mrs. O. J. Graham was hostess to her bridge club at her new home in Holladay on Friday evening, October 10. Special guests were Mrs. Beverly Parker and Mrs. Ruth Kluck. Prizes were won by Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. A. J. Boberg, and Mrs. Harold Chesler. A Halloween theme was carried out in decorations. Mrs. Parker took polaroid pictures of the group during part of the ev-ening. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. Linger Longer Club met Tues-day evening as guests of Mrs. Mae Stillman. The occasion celebrated Mis. Aimer Berg's birthday and she was presented with a lovely gift. Mrs. A. J. Sargent was an invited guest. Prizes at contract bridge were won by Mrs. Berg, Mrs. Juhn Nilsson and Mrs. G. T. Buckle. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Ross M. Cushing and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Murano enjoyed dinner and a show in Salt Lake City Sunday. Week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Dimmick and family was Mr. Dimmick's sister, Mrs. Leo C. Olson from Inglewood, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Francis J. Quinn returned Monday from a very en-joyable two weeks vacation in California where they visited with their daughter and son-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Louis Martin and family in San Diego and other relatives in Santa Barbara, Hawthorne and Downey. Spending a couple of days last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Robertson and son, Kevin, was Mrs. Mary Thomson, Mr. Ro-bertson's sister. Mrs. Thomson was enroute home to Long Beach, Calif from a five months visit in Canada with relatives. Weekly meeting of the Fire Auxiliary was held Monday night with Mrs. Shirl Scroggin hostess for the evening. Bridge was play-ed and prizes won by Mrs. Ross M. Cushing, Mrs. Jack Household-er Jr., Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin and Mr. Don Prigmore. Lovely re-freshments' were served by the hostess to sixteen members. At the next meeting Monday, October 20, a vote will be taken on the by-laws and names for the Christmas party will be drawn. Mrs. Mae Stillman will be hostess that night. Galena Lodge held its regular monthly meeting for October last Thursday night with Mrs. Erma Dean Dimmick hostess for the ev-ening. Bingham Central is going in with the Lions Club in sponsor-ing the Halloween program at the Civic Center on Friday evening, October 31, it was reported this week. The program will include a bon fire, spook alley and carnival, also soft drinks will be sold. Mrs. Heber Nichols entertained her afternoon birthday club at her home in Copperton on Thursday afternoon of last week. Special guests were Mrs. Howard Ha rite r and Mrs. Winn Raby. A lovely one o'clock luncheon was served after which bridge was played. Prizes' were won by Mrs. Howard Haus-- 1 jknecht, Mrs. W. D. S. Brown and ' Mrs. Frank Finnas. . buds caught her fingertip veil, and !ie carried pink roses and white mums. Uncial attendants were Miss Diane Leonard, maid of honor; M h Margaret Scorzato and Miss Anna Rose Laveder, bridesmaids. The maid of honor was dressed in blue lace, and the bridesmaids wore ballerina length dresses of pink lace. Frank Lucas was best man and uhers were Nyron Chidester and Ri hard Toone. The newlyweds are making a home in Murray.. MINERETTE CLUB October 8th to 10th was Bing-ham High School Minerette Club initiation. The "probies", dressed in costumes according to the theme "Phantom Fantasy", were required to do anything that was instructed by a Minerette. Wednesday they presented an assembly to the entire student body and Thursday they performed an original drill for the Minerettes. All of the girls were happy upon becoming Minerettes. Linda Long WOMEN'S CIVIC CLUB L'ungham Canyon Women's Civic Club held its annual fall card party on Wednesday, October 8, 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center. Bridge and other games were enjoyed by 59 members and guests, I larvest time and autumn colors in (lowers and leaves carried out the decorating theme. Large green metal-lic paper numbers mounted on chestnuts and walnuts attached to fellowship of young people from all over the Utah Western District. Rev. Carl Johnston, district direc-tor of youth work, was in charge of the rally. Miss Mildred May, sponsor of the local group, was one of the teachers and taught the class in "Outreach" concerning missions around the world.
