Pack announce the engagement of their daughter Shirley Ann to Pvt Valjo son of Mr & Mrs Joseph U'oolstenhulme, Lehi. Date of the wedding is yet undecided. Pvt Woolstenhulme is now at Fort Carson. Colo. He will graduate from school in June and expects to serve overseas for the following 16 months. Funeral services for George Frederick Phelps, 82, who died Apr. 18, at the home of a daughter, Mrs Jensen, Riverton, were held Apr. 22 in the Midvale'Second ward chapel, with Bishop Harold Berrctt of the Riverton First ward officiating. Mr Phelps was born Sept. 18, 1872 in England, to George and Elizabeth Foster Phelps. He married Zina May Butterfield Dec. 16, 1896. She died June 24, 1938. Surviving sons and daughters are L. V.. Murray; Clyde B., Draper; Wil- ford, Riverton; Orval. South Jor dan; George N., Midvale; Mrs; Ros-ellMines, Salt Lake; Mrs Vera Bean, Phoenix.
