Reed H. Beckstead reported this week. The superintendent said that a search made by all school principals had not been able to relate the charges to any specific incident. He said that the original complaint was voiced by a parson without children in school who had heard reports from mothers who In turn heard them from children. Mr Beckstead said tht it is not impossible for some discus sions of a religious nature to take place in school rooms, as the study of individuals and groups is often tied inseparably to religious considerations. "It is the policy of the district," the superintendent said, "to see that no partiality, fav oritism, or preference is ex pressed in cither religious or political beliefs. We are inter ested in seeing the rights of all protected." He added that a letter has gone out to all principals show ing in detail the findings of the district's and investigation, calling attention to the need for constant vigilence in maintain- e.
