Show District 8 W. Jordan Has Schedules Meet Town Hall Bids Contract Pends The American Legion District 8 and Auxiliary is holding con- ference at the Murray Armory Saturday, Oct. 28. Workshop classes begin at 3 p.m., and all members are urged to attend. Any interested persons are also nvited to attend the workshop, it was announced by District Commander Elmer Tripp. Auxiliary meeting will be in charge of Mrs Althea Olson, district 8 president. Following the meetings a smorgasboard dinner Will be served followed by an evening of dancing. Ten firms submitted bids Tuesday on construction of West Jordan town hall to be erected on the northwest corner of the West Jordan Park Donald J. Parr, president of the town board, said that no contract has been awarded pending a detailed study of the bids, all of which included basic bid and two alternates. The basic bid included the building with only the office and board room finished; the tirst alternate included a small audi torium and kitchen, and the sec- - tions in the town. n Lady Lions will hold a meeting Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the home of Mrs Arnold A Francom, 677 Wasatch St., at 8 will be Mrs Fay p.m. Thomas.
